How to Choose the Right Apprenticeship Course - Use our checklist!

Follow these simple steps to make sure your course choice is the perfect fit: 

Check Eligibility

  • Are you (or your employee) aged 16 or over?
  • Do you have a contract of employment?
  • Do your contracted hours allow for off-the-job training (average 6 hours per week)?
  • Are you enrolling in a new subject area, even if you already hold a qualification at the same or higher level?

  • Employers: Which skills gaps or future roles do you need to fill?
  • Learners: What are your career aspirations – leadership, technical expertise, digital, creative?
